My cousin Keirsten is an esthetician and has been recommending products to me for the last several years. She recently began as the first launch manager for TréSkinRX, Inc., in Massachusetts, a two-year-old product line, and asked me to try out their lifting and brightening mask.
I am not always the most diligent about skin care and I use masks very sparingly, but I liked the smooth, creamy consistency of this one. It didn't feel like you were rubbing sand paper across your skin like some masks I've used before. I could also feel it tightening up my skin pretty quickly. You put in on dry skin, leave it on for ten minutes, and then wash it off, so it was easy to put on during my morning routine. It's more of an investment price-wise, but they do have a $15 trial kit of products to give it a try first.
More details on the mask:
The lifting and brightening mask has kojic acid to lighten pigmentation from the sun, lavender extract to soothe and kill bacteria (and smell nice!) and a base of pharmaceutical-grade aloe vera, which is soothing, hydrating, and naturally stimulates collagen production.
And now we pause for a commercial break:
TréSkinRX, Inc., was started by a board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Ahmed Abdullah, who was using pure organic, pharmaceutical grade aloe vera on his clients after administering plastic surgery. Because he was getting so many requests to purchase "whatever it was" that he was using on their skin, he decided to formulate his own skincare line and market it!
